Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS)

EOTAS packages are monitored by the SEN Team through the EHC review process. Through the review process, the package may

• remain the same
• be amended to reflect a change in need, or
• a return to an educational setting may be deemed appropriate

The SEN Team will ask for progress reports from the providers. This is to ensure the provision is effectively meeting the child’s special educational needs.

The SEN Team will complete visits to external providers on an annual basis to complete quality assurance checks.
