Privacy and Cookies

We take your privacy very seriously.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device by websites that you visit. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.

Cookies can be categorized as follows:

  1. Necessary Cookies: These cookies are essential for the website to function properly. They enable basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the website.
  2. Analytical Cookies: These cookies help understand how visitors interact with the website by collecting and reporting information anonymously.
  3. Functional Cookies: These cookies enable the website to remember choices you make (such as your user name, language, or the region you are in) and provide enhanced, more personal features.
  4. Marketing Cookies: These cookies are used to track visitors across websites. The intention is to display ads that are relevant and engaging for the individual user and thereby more valuable for publishers and third-party advertisers.

How we use cookies

We use cookies to improve your browsing experience. At the moment, we have Necessary cookies, which do 2 things

  1. We store a "session cookie" which means that we know that a user is using the site, and we can deliver a better experience. For example, guide pages need cookies to show the right views.
  2. We have a "consent manager cookie", which remembers what cookie consent you have given us.

We have "Embedded external content cookies" to remember your permission to show Vimeo and Youtube videos. These services use cookies, but they do not share the information with us.

Managing cookies

You can manage your cookie preferences through our consent management tool, Klaro!. When you first visit our website, you will be presented with a consent banner that allows you to accept or reject different categories of cookies. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking on the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of our website.
