What if the setting still doesn’t put the provision in place after the review
If you feel the setting is still not putting in place the provision in the EHCP then you can
- speak to the Headteacher or Principal at the setting
- follow the school’s complaints procedure (go to the school’s website for this)
- complete the Calderdale Council complaints procedure
The outcome of your complaint will depend on what your complaint is and what steps have already been done to solve it.
Remember to give a clear timeline of events and any evidence you may have.
Note: If you are unhappy with the EHC plan rather than the school then you need to follow the EHC Appeal process.

You should follow the school complaints process if a child or young person does not have an EHC plan.
